Money can never be a substitute for a ring for this occasion. Ring means much more than its worth.In impact it magnifies and reorientates the mind and sets a positive tone.
But in your case since she is indecisive, you ought to wait rather than push through it.But if you are keen and want to see the result then take the calculated risk and give her the ring. After all marriage is a gamble that you have to enter into in order to get a real taste. Either you win or loose, in both the cases it would be an education and experience.

Whoa Whoa Whoa.....NO!!!! It is NOT the money it costs to buy the ring that is important! You hand her money to go pick out a ring, and you have ruined it! I would cry if my boyfriend did that to me... of course he never would.... it isn't just about being romantic either. The ring should be a symbol of your LOVE. A wad of cash just can't do that.

If she can't decide whether she wants to marry you or not, I wouldn't even think of buying her a ring. It depends on many factors - how old you guys are, how long you've been dating, more information would've been helpful in order to give a more accurate answer.

No! I was just in that same situation. He gave me the $--I wish he would have waited until I found the right one (ring). I have a little extra in my bk acct. but no new ring on my finger.

NO! Take her to the jewlry store and have her pick out a ring she would like to have and then buy it for her when she is not around

It is better to take her to a jewelery store and just watch what she does...take notes on what she lingers around. Chances are any ring is going to make hre happy...she is going to be so surprised when you propose that she won't know what to say anyways...
