I am really looking forward the the soon return of Jesus. Like I said to somebody the other day, only a dead and dying person loves this dead and dying word. I feel Jesus will be returning very soon although I do not know when, I had a strong feeling the other day that it will be in this generation.Christians do you like me feel this world is very empty and unfulfiling? I do and I have my focus on the Heavenly things, not of the world where there is so much unbelive, murder, wars, famines, hatred, violence, percecution ect. So christians do you have your heart on what is unseen, because as you know what is unseen is eternal, and what is seen will all pass away.

This world may be passing away, but it doesn't mean that I have to live some kind of dull, joyless existence. I love life and am having a great time. The fact that I'm enjoying myself during my stay on this planet doesn't in any way negate my spirituality. Yes, we will all pass away, and so will this world. But why live a life of drudgery while we're here?

I love some of the people here. God tells us to love everyone, and I try and do that; but a few people I love deeply. And I like some of God's creation, I like seeing the sun rise over the hill in the morning, and set in an amazing blaze of glory on the plain in the evening. So although I agree with you that our real home is not here, and that our focus and priorities are to be on what comes next, I still enjoy some of the good that remains.

I think your perspective is good, but there's a difference between loving the world and loving the things of the world. As followers of Christ, we need to reflect the love of our Father, who was filled with so much love for this world, that He gave His own Son for us. Our attitude should be similar. We see the death, the unbelief, the famines, hatred, etc...and it disappoints us, as it should. I agree that it should point our gaze heavenward in a healthy anticipation for our future glorification...but we must not be like the Essenes of Jesus' day, who fled their problems of their day. It is true that what is seen will one day pass away, but conversely, what is done in each moment carries with it so much meaning and an opportunity to help bring about the Kingdom of God that Christ is ushering in...what could be more beautiful?

Jesus is ruling as king, if you mean the Armageddon, the war of the Great God Almighty then be ready for it.

It is something to hope for as it will clean evil away and bring peace.

People, because God loves them. Jonah was also looking for the coming judgment, but God loved the people and desired their salvation.
