50/50 wouldn't surprise me. My son, who is studying end-of-days eschatology, says that only 2 more Popes will appear, then the Anti-Christ will come. My opinion: The Anti-Christ is already here, just waiting to reveal itself as such. Jesus said, "I am the Alpha (beginning) and the Omega (end)". Jesus was the "last word" in what we need to know to be saved. Adding anything more is blasphemy.

I think they might try, but security will be so tight any attempt would fail.
It is ironic that the pope's speech, suggesting that Islam was a violent religion, could be proved right by a bunch of fools who try to convince us otherwise.

I do hope no one tries it. I am not a believer, but I was brought up in the Christian tradition and I have a lot of respect for it. The obvious perpetrators - muslim extremists - are vile savages. I'm a peaceful man, but if they assassinate the Pope, I'm hunting savage.

None. Devout Muslims are satisfied with waiting for him to rot in Christian hell.
