It is a real problem where I work. These 17 year old female students just won't quit following me around licking and sucking on them. I am 23 and have just finished Uni, this is my first job teaching PE. I can't ban bananas obviously and its too stupid to put them in detention for it. What other punishments should I give? How do I handle this appropriately?

Geeze whores just ignore them. They just want attention, and they think they are all sexy and hot and trying to make you want them. Next time you see it roll your eyes or mumble something about immature teenagers... they will stop.

If I were a teacher, I'd ban EVERYONE from sucking on a banana!!
In your case it's an act of disrespect. I'm sure there's a policy about that at your school. If they're eating (sucking) during class time you have them there too. Check with a Vice Principal or Department Chair for guidance.

You should definitely let your supervisor know that this is going on, as embarrassing as that may be. This is a common problem for young teachers, so your school administrators will probably not be surprised. The fact that students are being sexually provocative is serious, because you don't know what they will do or what they will claim next. You should keep a log of whatever happens.

They're not breaking the rules - so dont try and win with them.
Fight back by laughing at them. Embarass them in class with comments about their liking. Make people laugh at them. But dont insult them outright.
That way ur not breaking any rules, people dont see u as a killjoy or too strickt and they'll stop when they get laughed at more than the get laughs.

Well, obviously, they are trying to get a "rise" out of you. Just like any child, if you ignore it long enough, they might stop doing it especially if they see it doesn't affect you.
You could do something humorous that would embarrass them like photograph them doing it then post it on a bulletin board with the title, "Monkey's of the Week."
If it does mess with you, then you need to report it to a higher-up before you get yourself in trouble...

Perhaps these silly girls are wanting you to be leery. I hope you are not teaching girls P.E.
It 's hard (sorry!) when there is such a narrow age gap and these girls are being stupidly precocious. Just ignore them and think of them as children, that is what they are (that's how I dealt with boys chatting me up when I used to teach.)

These girls are not only potentially dangerous to you they are dangerous to themselves. What if you weren't a nice guy and you tried something on them? These girls could be playing this dangerous game withy anyone - I really think you should try and put a stop to it for all of your sakes
