That's not true at all. People change with time, also the things they look for in a mate change. Chances are if you see this person alot her feelings will not change. But if you meet up a few years down the road anything could happen.

Why to go after girls, keep yourself busy in some good work. Try to eradicate the cause why she is not liking you.

try acting differently towards her, NOT shy or "nice"
bust on her, disagree with her, then tell her how smart she is or how hot she looks.
act confident and she'll warm up to you.
