Tell them that they should respect your privacy, and that it's not appropriate for them to have your address and number.

Hope that helps!

Have your professional address on your letterhead, along with the phone number of your 24 hour answering service, on a fee sheet for calls (ie. emergency, after hours, etc). Decide whether you feel it is appropriate to be available at all times unless it is an emergency. Make sure you are not listed in the phone book for personal listing. Tell them this is protocol, and that you do your best doctoring by being a professional above all else. Be calm & professional about your ethics in this area of practice, and move on to another topic immediately.
btw, are you an intern with no mentor to ask this of them? Or joking?
I find it curious that you would turn to this forum for answers.
Good luck, it will get easier each time you have to establish these limits, and you already know what having no limits does to any human relational situation, so stand firm in doing the wise thing.

Well....I don't know in what context he asked you....but if you are the slightest bit uncomfortable, you should get another one...maybe a woman, if it is making you feel bad...Don't get intimidated while trying to get help for yourself....Now if it is in a good, caring way,..then give him the information...as He can get it anyway...Good luck...oh wait, I misunderstood your question..you should already know the answer, being a professional.....if you think that he is making a pass at you,...which he is...then you need to set him straight real quick..or send him elsewhere...he can always contact you through your office or answering service...but you already know this
