because yu can nibble at the pointy edges daintily, like a sophisticated lady who has afternoon tea on the lawn, and wears a hat.

Which side do you eat first when you are eating a slice of pizza? The crust or the pointed side? Human beings like points.. they go into your mouth a lot easier. A regular sandwich messes up your lipstick and leaves a mess on the side of your mouth. My husband used to cut all my bread into triangles in the begining of our marriage.. He said for "ease of eating". I thought he was nuts. However i do like my toast cut in triangles and then toasted. Have you tried that? Human beings also like odd numbers - example - 3 roses are always more attractive than 4, 3 corners better than 4 corners of a sandwich.

That is so true. I was at a party the other day and I couldn't stop eating them. Also grilled cheese tastes different if it's not in to triangles. Funny

2/3 surface area of tasty ingredients, if you cut your Wonder bread sandwich into 4 little triangles. If you cut it in half, 2 big triangles, you still get more surface area that you do with those standard squares or rectangles.

Because they're cut so perfect that you eat at the ends first and then when you bite into the middle in the end that's where the majority of the taste is. Burgers are hard to eat because you don't know where to start, same with squares. But triangles? Perfect. ....... Haha I don't know?

Its all to do with preparation. Food, including sandwiches, which is well presented is pleasing to the eye and brings on high levels of happiness.

because triangles give u options....
[1] if u like the crust... u start from the corner
[2] if u dislike crust... u nibble from the centre out.
Square and round burgers and buns do not offer this options.
