They can be any size, shape or color.. there is no 'breed' standard to fit a mongrel. Most are wonderful companion dogs, if given a chance..Someone experienced with many breeds of purebred dogs can look at a mongrel, and give a pretty good guess at what breeds are in his makeup, but they are all different..
I got a mongrel puppy 7 years ago. She is as good as any dog I have ever had..Seriously..I wouldn't take a million dollars for her..ever

Mongrel puppy means, that it is not a purebred dog, but a cross between two or more breeds of dog. So they can have all kinds of features, sizes and colors.

It really depends on how mongel the dog is. If dogs are allowed to randomly mate you will end up with a dog that is somewhere between 40 and 60 pounds, semi erect ears and medium length hair. If it is an F1 (first generation cross) it will look like some combination of the parent breeds. Think of it this way- the true mixes are more like the origional dogs- all of the breeds came from selective breeding from a common dog that looks like what we think of a s a mongel. As you allow dogs to randomly mate they revert back to the the orional type.

A mongrel can be any variation of several different dogs. They all look different. But, they are pretty easy to pick out because they don't look like pedigrees either.

a mongrel is a word used for a mixed breed instead of a purebreed dog, or cat, or any other animal that makes babies, they are usually more loving then a purebreed. these babies need luv like all animals do, and usually, to answer your question look like one or a combination of their parents. i have 6 dogs, 2 from the same mother, and neither look like her, to cats from the same litter, you would think neither were brother and sister,
they are all beautiful to me

Well, this is one of the joys of mongel dogs, They can look so different from any other dog, just depending on their parentage,
How much nicer than a dog that looks just like a clone of its purebred brothers and sisters.......
Mine is a british bulldog/unknown dog mix, and he is just beautiful!! he has a bully body and colouring, a longer muzzle, and the gentle loving bully personality.....
