I think it is important to know the difference between the Church as the body of Christ and the church as the earthly institution. There are a lot of people sitting in pews every Sunday that aren't really Christians and a lot of people not in pews that are. Being involved in the Church as the body of Christ is natural. There are no sign up lists or rosters and no one can exclude you. If you are actively seeking God's will in your life and living out His ways then you are involved in the Church. If you want to be involved in the earthly institution that most people associate with the word church I would say ask to be included in something that you want to be included in and if questions, concerns, or even strange looks arise then be as open and honest as possible. I would say that it is super important to remember not to sacrifice who God made you to be or God's will (in your life and who he is transforming you daily to become) so that you can be involved in the institutional church. If the members of the church you go to cannot accept your attempts at involvement and open and honest behaviors and speech, keep trying. Most importantly through it all, however, is to pray. Bring all of this to our Lord because He alone can truly change their minds and attitudes, as well as provide you with strength.

If a church is operated below the policies of the Bible, how can homosexuals serve there, whilst the Bible for sure calls them an abomination it particularly is to be destroyed? I fail to work out how they could be allowed to serve. Addition: each and every thing isn't ok in a church! The church is the communities occasion and would shelter the optimal standards. that does no longer comprise violating what's written in the Bible. and that i do no longer provide a damn who I offend.

You cannot be living in any sin & serve in a church "But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person."(1Corinthians 5:11-13) The word fornication just does not mean sex before marriage, but any sexual sin

Why not... it's not a sin to christians... Only jews...

The new testiment threw out the 'laws to the jews' from that part of the bible that says guys that have sex with guys should be killed for what they did was wrong....

Along with all kinda messed up (by todays standards) laws....

like not eating shelfish...

it being ok for guys to havesex with animals is ok long as there not holy (only like 5 listed as so)... women are to be put to death if they even offer themselfs to an animal though

Children should be stoned to death imdeatly if they back talk any adult...

Women that are victums are rape should be killed...

stuff like that.....

a lot of rules that where all thrown out with the new testiment

Well, todays society is full of leftist neo liberals who spend more time promoting homosexuality than they do worrying about moral values and the direction of modern cultures are taking!!
If they had any morals or values they would recognise that the bible states in plain English that homosexuality is an abomination and a sin!
How can someone that has been removed from Gods ight serve God?

How can they not? Sitting in the same pews at church are heterosexual people who do freaky weird wacked things in bed. Chaining, whipping, etc. So who is the deviant. I think it's the freak sitting with his wife and three kids who after work hours goes and screws some hooker. Being gay or being heterosexual shouldn't have anything to do with worshiping in church.

There's no reason they can't, it just puts them in an awkward situation in which they have to 'repent' by admitting what they are doing is wrong or a sin in the eyes of god. Personally i see no problem with it, i know quite a few who are in this situation. I don't agree with it because what they're doing i don't see as wrong, they have every right to be there as much as anyone as i see it.

First of all the bible says one thing about turning ANYONE from the church.

I will judge you as you judge others (this is my translation but basically what the bible says in modern day terms)

So if the church says you can't come here because you are gay, black, drug-addicted, etc then God will tell then they arent worthy of heaven.

A real born again Christian cannot be gay. In the Bible, God states that gay is an abomination and fornication. If they are serving in church it is not one with real Christians.

By helping the preacher get a little BEHIND in his work.OOOOOr,just like any straight person, help out by getting involved.Be active and forget about other peoples' perception of you.If you are happy with who you are, leave it alone.
