Well, she can try the nose strip to put on her nose. Or she might seek help through a medical help, doctors etc. There is a medication for that. Waking her up or pitching her nose while she's snoring won't give you any good effect, cuz surely she will continue to snore again afterwards. So seek help from doctors. They know how to deal with terrible snores for sure. I have a friend who snores a lot before, but after he sought help from a doctor, now he snores no more.
Snoring could be healed for sure. As long as the person have the strong will for that.

Serious answers seriously! go into another room to sleep. What you do is tape her snoring so loudly and let her hear it and that way she'll understand completly that it is nothing personal. If plan (A) causes conflict then plan (B) if it come down to it there is a medical procedure to help with that. And if that doesn't work then both of you have to do a little sacrificing each and decide what's the most important thing here.. your sleep or your woman.
Now I gotta catch me some zzZz..I hope yall work it out.

Dude, I'm being serious when I suggest you either sleep in a different bed or on a comfy couch.
I have actually slept with my daughter for the last two years because my husband has sleep apnea. He had a sleep study done and the doctor told him that he had to get a C-Pap machine because he stops breathing so many times during his sleep, which is causing the snoring and is very unhealthy for him.
He was so stubborn at the time about getting the C-Pap machine that he has waited two years about putting it off. He has finally decided that he would rather sleep with the C-Pap machine than without me, while at the same time helping him breathe and sleep more comfortably and soundly and is in the process of getting a new prescription from his doctor to order one - FINALLY. I'm so happy that he has decided having me by his side at night is more important than him having to sleep with a tiny machine that will not only make him quit snoring, but will help him breathe and get a good night of restful sleep for now on.
You may want to check into it - I've heard it has saved many marriages.

Alright, I snore...The problem is when the tongue is enlarged, or the neck is actually thicker and when you sleep your neck and tongue muscles relax and crush down on the windpipe. Thus, causing your breathing to vibrate between your neck and tongue. Breathe right strips don't work that well unless you are just trying to clear your nasal passage from blockage (like a cold, or something). One thing to stop snoring is weight loss. Not that I'm saying your girl is big, but sometimes a little exercise can drop some weight off the face and neck.
There are 4 things you can do
1. Get use to it, its not going to stop. (most probable)
2. Have her try to sleep with her head completely back (yea right!) or have her sleep on her belly ( works with me).
3. There is surgery to actually cut the tongue muscle down, to allow more air in the passage way. (highly unlikely for you)
4. Forced air machine (if you can handle the noise when you sleep)
One thing you should watch for with her is... if she stops breathing for a second. If that happens, she probably has sleep apnea. Its a condition where your body never enters a REM sleep cycle. It could be fatal and cause your heart to stop, or it will leave you sleep deprived for the rest of your life. My father has sleep apnea, and they put him on a forced air machine. This allows him to reach the REM cycle because his body is fully oxygenated and does not wake him up from suffocating since its a body's natural response to wake up if you cant breath.
Hope this info helps you.

Is there a position she lays in that she does not snore? I normally push my boyfriend on his tummy. It doesn't stop it, bt it reduces it dramatically!

How can I ask this delicately? Is she carrying a little holiday weight?? My husband snores worse when he is so perhaps a little weight loss would help.

If it has gotten to the stage where its really bad, if you get her to go to the dentist they have mouthgards that stop snoring. I know Optical Express | The Dental Clinic do them, I think they are a bit expensive, but if they do the job......

You can buy breathing strips that go over the nose they are sticky so when applied they pull the nasal passage apart slightly allowing you to breather more easily. I think they are called Breath Right.
