Absolutely he is wrong! That is terrible because vitamins are supposed to be added to eating an already healthy diet. Fiber, protein, excetera do not come from a vitamin ..can only be through eating. Plus the body will absorb vitamins from fruits/veggies/healthy foods much easier than from vitamins.

Very wrong, vitamins are an okay supplement but you can't substute them for real vegetables and fruit. Your body has a much easier time with vitamins that occur naturally then the ones that are synthesized in a lab. Besides the vitamins there are also antioxidants and probably tons of other subsances that we havn't even discovered yet.

Wrong. We are always discovering the importance of new nutrients in vegetalbles, vitamins don't contain them all.

Real food is always better than pills.

wrong, hes not getting the dietary fiber he needs from vitamines at all.
