such a utopia can only work if the residents no longer have free will it seems.

Aassimilated is a verb meaning taken up, accepted, absorbed, incorporated
So Yes, according to the Bible, Jesus will come back to take all the saved people (those who have accepted him as their personal Savior). That act would be assimilated to Heaven or taken up to Heaven.
What a weird website............just hope and pray you are ready to go to Heaven when Jesus comes back. Read John 3:16

I don't like the word assimilated, sounds like the borg from star trek. I think the better question is, "Will we be accepted into Heaven?"

Only 144,000 will get to heaven.
Revelation 7;4 and 14;1
All the rest of those who have died will remain 'asleep' in death [ Acts 7;60...13;36...1 Cor. 7;39] until they are resurrected [ Rev. 20; 12,13]

We are already in heaven, Satan just hasn't been identified yet, and kicked off his throne.
