try to eliminate that which is causing the stress...and make time to enjoy those things that brought you happiness in the past...you must do these things for yourself...go for long walks, as that is always a good way to release stress...but above all, love yourself enough to not feel guilty over loving yourself enough to do things for YOU

EVERYONE and I do mean everyone has stress. You cannot survive in today's society without it. I believe in a one by one system to alleviate stress causing situations. Take care of the most difficult ones first and then work your way down to the ones with the least impact on your life. Also have yourself some me time for reflection and try to find a way to not let things pile up on you again. I find that it's usually the actions of other people that cause an individual the most stress. You will need to work on implementing a neutral frame of mind when dealing with that person and if at all possible--avoid them. Keep your personal business to yourself and don't get involved with anyone else's. If it's financial stress involved work out a budget or get a second, part time job if necessary. Working out is a great aggressive stress release too. The longer the better.

Stress is an every day factor in everyone's life. Some have more than others. Taking time each day to relax and let everything go is very important. You can relax in small ways - such as taking a break from work to relax your whole body and empty your mind while deep breathing can help. And finding time each day to relax and let it all go helps. Some people find meditation helps, or yoga, or a warm bath. It's all about finding what works for you. I try, at the end of each day, to look in the mirror and tell myself good job for things gone right, forgive myself for things gone wrong, tell myself I am a good person and let the day go. It just helps me face each day with a fresh start. Hope that helps. Good luck.
