There is usually no sodium beer. However, some brewer do add minerals to their beers to mimic the native water of some countries. This is done to give the beers an authentic flavor. For instance an American brewer might add gypsum or sodium to his beer, so that it mirrors the quality of an English brewers water.

Almost none. Neither malt nor hops contains significant amounts of sodium.

If sodium is a real concern. maybe stick to hard liquer without carbonation
