i think in west the subject of Death is rarely ever discussed. if anyone did you could see those dirty frowing faces all around with their eyebrows raised.
infact it is one of the most beautiful phenomena one should discuss. it is very intimate to every human being. infact i love the subject death very much. knowing death, one knows how beautiful life is. both are related. like our shadow. very faithful to us.
discussing death does not mean negative attitude to life. may be thats how christianity and islam views it. but that is thier views and i do not want to get into a discussion with them.
west seems to handle death with fear. even in dying, they are in a hurry to die. just do not want to watch death face to face.

Death is the unknown.People who say they don't fear it are liars.
We all are going to die.But we will not all taste death.
I know I am going to heaven when I die.But I am afraid of the process of dying. Some people say that God takes the fear away from Christians before they die.I think this is truth. When my mother first found out she was dying she was afaird, but then oneday the fear was just gone.Replaced by peace.

No. In fact, a lot of the other societies think that we're really weird for being so twitchy about the subject.

Nope. We pretty much try to ignore it. Worse, we seem to put time limitations on mourners as if suffering should stop on a certain schedule.

We are able to except things and move on, some things can't be undone. And death is one such thing.
