I'm surprised you're not in counselling for the matter (not because of wanting to kill the DUI, but for her death). The most effective method is to confront the man (who assuredly feels terrible about the matter - it will haunt him for a lifetime) and offer him forgiveness. Tell him that although you both know what he did was wrong, you forgive him. I can almost guarantee that if he's any kind of a man, he'll probably burst into tears. Forgiving him will massively reduce the impact it has on him, as well as the impact on yourself. It takes a very big man to do that. I don't know if you're a christian or not, but that's what Jesus would have done himself, and would want you to do.

I have lost 3 friends to car accidents., One of which was a passanger. Pay back is the first thing you want to do i know. But just remember this guy has to live with it for the rest of his life. He has to reply the image over and over again in his head. He has to live with the realisation that he has killed an innocent person. There is no harsher punishment than that. I am really sorry!

Would your gf want you to kill knowing that you will soil your hands in the blood of another living thing?

You can hate him all you want but, if you gf were right beside you...would she be ok with it?

if so the best thing to do is have her family press charges of manslaughter. That will really kill him.

-good luck my friend. May everything in the world turn for you.

Picture yourself in prison the rest of your life. That should stop you, but the urge to kill will still be there. I know, I've been through some horrible things, especially at my dad's funeral. I still have the urge to kill them but then I think about life in prison and that ALWAYS stops me.

It is only natural to want to protect the ones that you love!
Pray and ask the Lord to give you strength to forgive the guy! Its hard, but if you really sincerely ask the Lord, He will help you and your girl friend to forgive him!

You dont.
I would feel the same, I would do something about it though. I do NOT advise you do though.
You just have to try to get on as best you can.

try reminding yourself that if you do, youre likely to get caught and thus ruining your life and hers by getting yourself thrown in jail.
