He's nice and we've been friends for a long time. I'm beginning to like him but I'm afraid that if i ask him out and he says no that it would screw up our friendship and make eveything more akward. What should i do?

Ask him. If he says no, at least you know the answer. And if he lets that come between your friendship, then he's not really a friend. If it does get awkward, make a joke about the situation by acknowledging the awkwardness. Who knows, maybe he feels the exact same thing... Good luck!!

If that would screw up your friendship, he's not a good friend anyway. Take a chance and ask him whether he's interested in going with you because if he is you want to be there for him. The worst that can happen is you find out he was never much of a friend, right? Good luck, hopefully I'm that friend, but who would you be? Hmm... No, couldn't be. There's no one I know who would have posted that about me.

Dont wait for him to ask! He could be like me and be very shy
on the inside. Dont you think in this day and age that women aught to take the lead every once in a while? If it does hinder the friendship(and I cant see a guy getting upset about that) there is more to HIS story. Also a little liquid courage never hurts ;-)

frndshps gettng ruined by askng4date 2 a frnd like that happens (i think) only wen the boy is the one hu initiates.. well, in ur case, ur the gurl and ur the one hu likes.. i thnk nothin will hppen with ur relationshp.. men dont get bothered with a girl theyve rjected after she has askd......or even courtd him.. everythng will be ok after u ask him ..

ei gurl, theres nothin 2 lose.. u dnt know.. he myt juz be afraid 2 tell his feelngs 4 u.. som of my friends ar like that..my friend has told me that he will juz court the gurl he likes if she shows "signs-of-affection" to him ....gezz what? he keeps on acting like an ordinary friend 2 her until now.... sounds gay and coward but that's what really happens to some men..

so go 4 it! good luck !
