Fossils ARE more than 6-8,000 years old. It is ONLY man that was created then [ 6/8,000 yrs.] The earth and animals have been around for a long time. Dinosaur bones prove that.
Its strange how a small misunderstanding can cause so much controversy.
The date of Adam and Eve can be roughly estimated by the age of the Jewish PATRIARCHS [ Genesis ch. 5] and the geneology of Jesus [ Matthew ch. 1 and Luke 3; 23-38. Make up a chart from the figures and it will be seen that Methuselah outlived his own son by only four years.

Something can not take a fossilized form until after it is 10,000+ years old. Anything younger is called an artifact. Geologists then determine what age any given artifact may be based on what level in the earth it is at or archeiologists match it up to preexisiting ruins and make the determination. That is the simplified version anyway.

I have no idea how old the earth is. The Bible does say one day with the Lord is as a thousand years. it doesn't say it is a thousand years simply is as which means is like. Its simply saying one of Gods days is a really long time. i don't know enough about carbon dating to speak on it. I have allot of respect for science but I do know they can make some pretty big miscalculations. I have heard of the age of the earth and the age of the universe revised over the years. The figures thrown out have varied in the millions of years. I hate to say this kind of confuses me. It kind of makes me wonder how exact of a science are some of these calculations. It seems to matter little to those that made them the were off only by millions of years. But it does make me wonder how do we know they got it right this time. after reading one of your peoples responses it id remind of another thing. There have been bones offered as proof which were later rejected after having appeared in natioal geographic. And as funny as it sounds there is a report of a province in China where they have a factory where they produce fake bones. They would take for example a head of one animal and attach it to a bird trying to mislead peole inottinking they had discovered a new creature. Im not linking this to carbon dating but simply addressing a point that there is a market for the gullable on any side of an issue.

No its not a conspiracy.
All the methods they use are accurate to a certain degree.
The evolution scientists have bias toward evolution.
I mean like come on,these scientists go to college, they work their @ss off studying biology, anthropology, physics,.well i could go on
They are not purposely skewing everything in their favor, but all scientists do this.
Sometimes your passion gets confused with glory.
God Bless

No, we don't have meeting to date them, they are pre-dated by the earth. If you look very closely there is a bar code stamped on each one so all we have to do is scan them. HA

Fossils don't exist...Scientists just carve them out of rocks. If fossils did exist then where is the whale that ate Jonah with him fossilized inside? Oh wait...he got out...nevermind..I think I'll study evolution now.

I am--I've been planting those faux fossils around the world for decades--that's what area 51 is for actually, we fabricate dinosaur bones and artificially age them, but now that I've told you, I have to kill you, just doing my job..............
