I and my friends plan to celebrate New Years in NYC. Any suggestions besides Time Square. We may plan to go clubbing too, any good club for 18+ in New York that close to Time Squares? Thanks,

NY Waterway shall be offering a New Year's Eve cruise for $75 per person which shall include, champagne toast, noisemakers, DJ, live coverage of times square, coffee & dessert bar. They'll also have a cash bar available. The cruise shall depart @ 10:15pm & will run 'till 1am. You can choose to leave from either weehawken, nj or midtown @ W.38th St.
You would need to purchase tickets w/ Jessica - torres2@nywaterway.com. They fill up really fast...

well stay away from times square unless you like being squashed in with a bunch of fat smelly people from new jersey and elsewere while the cops raid your bags . i suggest club / bar hopping. or an event . whats gonna be thje craziest event in town? definatley the toshi party. google it if you want to see the movies.

try something else for new years, new york isnt even close to what you see on tv, you are coralled up from 9 on just to possibly get near something fun.
