My doctor recently increased my dosage of the medicine I am on for anxiety called diazepam to 20 mg's a day.......I have people telling me that's too much, but I have a severe anxiety/panic problem and I have found that taking 20 mg a day has almost ended the problem....a problem I had all my life until I saw a doctor this year!.....any suggestions?

Your doctor knows what you should be taking and if he is a new GP that you havent seen before then for sure get a second opinon but if he is your regular GP then he obviously knows very much about your needs. You can always get a second opnion at any time.

Diazepam is a Valium and if your doctor prescribed 20 Mg's a day then take it. If you are pharming and want to know how much you can take without hurting yourself zero is to much.

Unless these other people are doctors, listen only to your doctor. It is obvious that it is working for you.
