Hi, I have celiac disease (wheat/gluten allergy) and am allergic to soy. I use Bette Hagmans Cookbooks because although everything is pretty much just gluten free she tells you how to use the recipes by substituting safe ingredients for your child in place of the eggs, and soy. The nuts in all her recipes are optional and she teaches you how to use egg replacer in her recipes. She has many cookbooks out...I have about four and there are still more out there. And her recipes are easy, even for me and I am just starting to learn to cook all these different ways too. Amazon.com is the easiest way to find all her books in one place. Also, a good website is glutensolutions.com, they sell pre-made food and you can check off you son's allergies and it will show you the products that are safe for him to eat. Also all the ingredients for each item are listed so you can double check for everything as well. Hope this helps!

I don't have a cookbook to suggest but check the energyfoods website (www.ener-g.com) as they have a lot of items (both premade and ingredients) specifically for people with allergies and multiple allergies. I have an allergy to eggs (and cow milk, and bananas)so use their egg replacer in many recipes but have also found that 1/3-1/2 C flax seeds blended with 2 C water (process until consistancy of beaten eggs) works well (1/4 C equals 1 egg). I have also used spelt an older form of wheat that often is tolerated--check with you pediatric-allergist first. You can also check the cookbooks at Wild Oats and other "natural" food stores as there are many out there. The main stream stores don't have much. You should also consult a Nutritionist (not a Dietition) as they tend to focus more on what can be eaten not what can't and are oftem much more helpful and understanding. I know a baby with a problem can be very scary--our daugher (now 25) runs a high fever 105+ if she gets anything with banana or tartrazine dye (a derivitive of banana skins) in her diet and as a baby that was very scary when I gave her a taste of bananas as the Dr. suggested that for her first "solid".

I'm so sorry about your son's allergies. It's challenging to find a cookbook that includes ALL gluten, eggs, nuts, and soy free recipes.

This guide book is recommended by a mother whose son is allergic to wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, treenuts, artificial colors, perservatives, and pesticides (includes over 100 recipes too):

The following cookbook is NOT gluten free and does have SOME recipes that call for soy, but you can substitute the gluten ingredients with a gluten free blend found at a health food store to make them gluten free, and substitute out the soy or avoid those recipes all together:
