I have a brother who can't mind his own business for the life of him, and the only time he comes to me is to get the attention off himself! He is older than me, but certainly doesn't act it!
What is there aside from completely ignoring him that I can do? I have spoken with him, but anyone know of actions that will get the point across better?!

Find something against him somehow. I have a younger brother (almost 12) and he always comes in my room whenever he wants in, and just annoys me.

He hides a computer wire in his room, so that when he gets grounded from the computer, my mom takes his computer wire, but she doesn't know that he hides a back-up wire.

So when he does something that really makes me mad, I threaten him. I tell him that I'm going to tell my mom about the wire... then he'd be screwed if she found out, cause he gets grounded a lot.

You can try this: The next time he comes up to you trying to tell you something about himself, you get up and leave and dont give him a chance to say anything. Dont worry about being rude to a rude person, politeness is for people who deserve it; never worry about hurting his feelings, you know he doesnt worry about yours either. OK? let me know what happens!!
