Other than it being a UK lottery I also fell victim to an on-line lottery scam! It ruined us. If they tell you that you have to send them money by western union it is a scam. Also if you have received a check, try to erase something on the check,if it something erases it's a fraudulent check. Never give out your banking information. If your not sure, take it directly to the bank manager. Whatever you do,do not send money. This is a tip. If they want you to send money it's a scam. The check will have a watermark, try erasing it, if it erases then you know for certain it's fraudulent.

Yes, I have received this exact e-mail, the only difference is the amount of the donation/winnings and it is definitely spam. I have an e-mail folder devoted to lottery scam spam and job offer scam spam. I call it "FAKES." I have 25 entries including this one. I receive at least 3 per week. If they were real I'd have enough to take care of the country's deficit. Don't get sucked in.

This is nothing but a fraud. Without participating in a lottery, how can you win a prize.?
