This is a tough one because you'd think it would be, right? Well, not always. I don't know the details of the situation but if he is just coming over latenight for bootycalls he obviously is in it just for the sex BUT if he is over on a regular basis without you two having sex it could mean you are heading towards that direction. Look at his actions, men will typically keep quite with words but they will always treat you special if you are his special gal. :)

i think it depends how old you are and under what circumstances you started having sex. in high school if you regularly have sex with this person at parties, i wouldnt say that means a relationship. same goes for college. if you went on a date and have sex on a regular basis now, then i would think that hints at a relationship. it just depends on the circumstances and age and maturity.

The only person that can answer this question is the person you are with. Sex is usually a sign of things getting pretty serious but that's not always the case.

Technically, yes. A relationship can be as casual as saying hi to your postman every morning. So, yes, you have a relationship. How close it is, and what is expected in the relationship, have to be determined by the two of you through some sort of non ambigous communication.

For some, having sex merely means you have a SEXUAL relationship with each other.

Ask your partner and see? Communication in ANY type of relationship is vital.

It is a sexual relationship at a bare minimum. Hopefully, you talk with this person a bit more to see where you relationship is headed before you find yourself hurt, disappointed, or feeling betrayed. Good luck.

You are just f*** buddies until you both agree to make it official. If you just assume it's exclusive you may get hurt. Communicate, ask where you stand - if that's what you want. Some guys will take it that you are just giving it for free, and may keep looking around.
