Weight is tricky. Their are so many factors that determine whether or not a person is healthy, that simply looking at numbers doesn't work. If you eat well, exercise, sleep enough, and live a healthy lifestyle and feel ok with yourself, you're ok. Just to throw out how misleading numbers can be: I'm 5' 7" and 160 pounds. That sounds like a ton, but I exercise on a daily basis and have a normal body fat percentage. I just happen to be curvy and muscular. You just happen to be not, it's cool as long as you're cool.

The thing that is odd about this is that you weighed more 2 years ago and now you weigh less and you were already at kind of a low weight for your height. My cousin is 5'1" and 105 pounds and she looks really, really thin. I think it also depends on you muscle mass too because some people look fit at one weight while others look heavier. As long as you are eating properly then I don't see anything wrong. How did you loose he weight initially? You must have been working out or cutting calories? Otherwise weight does not normally just come off you like that. If it did, I would just go to the doctor and get you blood tested for everything, even STD's. A lot of medical things could cause weight loss.

I am the same as you. I am 25, 5'2" and weigh about 101 lbs. I have always been petite and doctors always say I should weigh more but I find it so hard to put on any weight. Its not that I don't want to gain weight, would love to weigh 110 lbs but no matter how much I eat, good and bad foods, I don't put on anything. I think its in my genes though as my mum is tiny and my dad was a jockey so he was small too, so I guess there wasn't much hope for me. I think as long as you are healthy, eat well and are happy, thats all that matters. Some people are just built small, others are built bigger. I think if you went from big to tiny then there would be something to worry about but you sound like you are naturally just tiny and there is nothing wrong with that!

You are a bit too thin but maybe you are just built that way. If you feel you are too thin and were actually heavier in high school then you may have a problem.
The first thing I would do if I was you is take notes daily on your diet...what you eat and how much you eat so you can count the calories. Then adjust your eating to fit the caloric requirement to maintain or gain weight.
It could be as simple as your metabolism or something as strange as a parasite.
If you are healthy in other ways, have plenty of energy, a strong immune system and your joints and muscles do not ache, then your weight may just be normal for you.
If, on the other hand, you are not eating enough or forcing yourself to throw up to keep your weight low then you need to seek a different type of professional help.
Regardless of the reason, you are wise to seek an answer.
Good luck and I hope all goes well.

You might just have a high metabolism. Also when you were at school did you do a lot of sport? It's just if you are not as active now, you may have lost muscle, which is why you weigh less. I assume you probably have a small frame also. BMI is based on average frame size, so someone with a smaller frame, might appear to be underweight, even though they are still perfectly healthy.
Nicole Ritchie actually weighs closer to 80lb and probably starved herself to get that way, you are just naturally very thin and if your doctor says you are fine and as long as your body fat hasn't dropped below 14%-16%, I'm sure you don't need to worry.

Don't worry, as long as you feel healthy, your weight doesn't matter. Do you exercise regularly? That may be the reason you weigh 95 lbs. Anyway, as long as you feel fine, don't worry over your weight.

It's normal for you. Normal for society is a wide range, but it still doesn't fit everyone. Stop fretting, if you feel ok at that weight then your fine. Enjoy you health.

I'm sure you look absolutely fabulous. If you are healthy and your doctor isn't worried, don't stress, it's just the way you are meant to be. Look at www.ashwell.uk.com she has a shape chart that may give you more guidance.

discuss with your doctor regarding your concern for weight. calculate your BMI to see where you are, put into account your ethnic origin. if you are menstruating it means you are not severely underweight. check whether you have coeliac diseases and other diseases of malabsorption. any possible parasites? are you anaemic?
if everything come back normal, then don't worry. providing you eat everything.
