Not only are we correct it is our responsibility. The laws are there to be enforced. Someone need to tell the powers that be at the Office of Border Patrol in Washington D.C. in particular Chief David Aguilar to get off his butt and allow his Agents to do their jobs. He has their hands tied so tight that they are unable to enforce the immigration laws that are currently on the books. Call his office at 202-344-2050.

What do you mean by "correct"?

As an American Indian, whose ancestors were overrun by "illegal immigrants" and forceably removed from their native homes onto reservations, I abhor the stance the American government, particularly George W. Bush and his "lovely" wife, Laura, have taken on Mexican immigration into the U.S.

Yes, Americans are correct in preventing illegal immigration. America should also be diligent in the requirements for becoming a "legalized citizen" of the U.S. whatever country they are coming from.

The U.S. Government sent thousands of Native American children to government boarding schools, punishing the children if they spoke their native language, and demanding they learn English.

Our present-day American government has determined that, to accommodate immigrants from Mexico, everything published by the U.S. government will be in Spanish. Our education system has been mandated to provide special teachers for Spanish-speaking students.

As a teacher in an American public school, I am subjected to Spanish-speaking students who refuse to converse in English. Am I becoming racially biased? You bet I am! Do I want every Mexican sent back to Mexico? You bet I do!

Of course. We can't pay to educate the world's poor and still take care of our own. Schools and hospitals are failing and have closed, and the impact of illegal immigration has passed the critical mass as their numbers have increased to 11 to 20 million people.

Yes, as much as citizens from other countries would be right in preventing illegal immigration in their own countries.

Hmmmm, what is the best SAT word I can think of to clearly communicate the right answer........Duh! That best describes it.

Did you look up the word "illegal"? Many, many other countries do it, the difference is you have to have a passport to get on an airplane or a ship. Unfortunately for America they can crawl over the boarder, hence we have the right to PREVENT it. Again...DUH!

We have no choice and we have to try to contain immigration.

The big problem is the fence they are going to build will do nothing.

The illegals who are here need a way to become legal and be taxed or else be deported. Bush is scared to do anything because he knows deporting illegals en masse will ruin the economy of Texas and some other states who depend heavily on cheap illegal labor

Absolutely.
Every nation should prevent this widely spreaded phenomena. From time to time, migration is a natural thing for all humans. Laws and rules of the nation to which they wish to migrate to; should be absolutely respected though.
