Yes, it is a horn shaped cookie and I have a great recipe and will be glad to share it.

4 heaping C flour
4 sticks softened butter (1 lb.)
4 egg yolks
1 large or 2 small yeast cakes.

Mix flour, butter and egg yolks. Disolve yeast in 1/2 C warm milk and add. Mix by hand to dough consistency. Roll into log and cut into 12 equal parts.

Mix 1 1/2 lb. finely ground walnuts. 1 C. sugar and 4 egg whites. Roll into 96 little balls.

Roll each part of dough into flat circle and cut 8 triangles. Place a nut ball on each and roll into horn shaped cookie starting at the wide part of the triangle.

Bake 350 for 15 minutes.

This is a lot of work and a bit of judgement on your part as to the size of the log and circles, but they are super yummy and a real hit! I had someone show me the first time I made them and it helped. Good Luck!!

I didn't find one doing a basic search, but you might want to go to the link below and post a message on their board and see if someone responds. There were some other recipes for Czechoslovakian cookies there, so they might know someone who has one. Good luck.

If someone had the recipe, then why would you have to tell them it's a cookie?
