So many talk about Arab Palestinians expelled from Israel that we forget the ONE MILLION Jews expelled from Arab countries they had inhabited for more than two thousand years! Israel's home to one million Arab Muslims (up from just 155,000 sixty years ago)who are excused from certain taxes, don't have to join the army like other Israelis, and have their own Arabic schools and universities. Arabic is also one of Israel's official languages. All over the Arab world there are fewer than 7,000 Jews. The Jewish population of Arab countries has decreased by more than 99%. Unlike Arab countries that don't take care of Arab Palestinian refugees, the State of Israel always supported Arab Jewish refugees. Nothing's changed since these days. Arab media still spits out anti-Semitic propoganda and Muslims hate Jews more than I thought anybody could hate anyone else. Israel treats Muslims very much better than Muslims treat Israelis or Jews.

“The state of Israel accepts all Jews from anywhere. That is one of the points of being a pan-Jewish state trying to occupy an illegally invaded territory.”
The state of Israel accepts all Jews from anywhere, yes. That was the idea of a national homeland for the Jews. Had Israel existed sixty years ago millions would have survived, including family members of my friends. “Illegally invaded territory” is an incorrect statement. Israel was not invaded, it was partitioned by the British Empire and then the United Nations which implemented a resolution calling for SEPARATE Arab and Jewish states in 1948. Muslims revolted because they did not want a two state solution which would mean acknowledging Israel’s right to exist. At first Israel was within its 1948 borders, but they day after its creation it was flooded by the armies of Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Transjordan, and Syria.

“Muslims are not requested to serve in the military, they are not ALLOWED into the Israeli Defense Force.”
That’s absolutely untrue. Although Arab Israelis are at times racially and religiously discriminated against (obviously much less so than Jews in Arab countries), they enjoy the same rights as Jewish citizens. The point of Muslims not being ALLOWED to serve in the IDF is completely false. Arab Israelis are not LEGALLY BOUND to military service, but they may serve VOLUNTARILY. The Druze are members of a Muslim sect who have repeatedly served in Israel’s military. In the war in Lebanon last summer an all-Druze battalion killed 20 Hezbollah fighters and incurred no casualties. So no, Arabs don’t have to serve in the army but they may volunteer, and Muslims are certainly allowed in. However, very few Arab Israelis volunteer – one estimate is 120 a year.

” To become an Israeli citizen you must serve in the defence force for 2 years unless you are enrolled in an Orthodox Religious College.”
Not surprising that you have to serve in the military for two years, which is a mandatory requirement for Israeli citizens – men get three years and women get two years. Married women are the only exception. Many Israelis have to postpone going to college to serve in the military. One girl I know from Haifa hates the thought of military service because it’s dangerous and she does not want to waste two years of her life. So why should applicants for Israeli citizenship be exempt from military service?

“The increase in Arab Muslim population numbers in Israel is not from birth or immigration. It is from the Annexation of land the Arabs live on.”
Do you have any idea what you’re talking about? Arab Israelis have the HIGHEST birthrate of any ethnic group in Israel, an amazing 4.6 compared to a Jewish 2.6! This means the Arab population is growing at 3.3% and the Jewish only 1.4%. A quarter of all newborns are Arab and the population will effectively double by 2020. Did you know that Arab members of the Knesset and religious leaders actively encourage Arab Israelis to have more and more children?

“I don't think what is going on in West Bank or Gaza can be regarded as good treatment. Even the UN is upset with it.”
I have already said that Arab Israelis are racially and religiously, not legally, discriminated against to some extent, but the treatment of Arabs is much better than the treatment of however many Jews there are left in Arab lands. In 1967 Egyptian Jews were arrested, imprisoned, and tortured and their property was confiscated by Nasser’s regime. Now the conditions of warfare in Gaza are very ripe for a high civilian deathtoll. Palestinians fire rockets from civilian buildings and use women and children as human shields, sometimes even voluntary ones. Palestinians are officially represented by an organization whose Charter says to destroy the State of Israel and replace it with a country that implements Islamic Shari’ah law.

Good point. And I applaud you for valiantly coming out for the truth. Israel gets very bad and one sided publicity! The media almost always report an Israeli rocket incident and very rarely report of the cause like Palestinian katsuya rockets that hit Israel or suicide bombers.
Now there is a truce between Israel and Palestine, I hope it lasts and that Palestine gets their own country. But has anyone notices that even after the truce, Palestinian hamas fighters still kept throwing rockets into Israel? Shows a lot about hamass true objectives! By the way to the answerer above me, Arab Israelis HAVE all same and equal treatment as do Jews and Christians in Israel.

Jewish history is both wonderful and tragic, the history of Israel is both wonderful and tragic it is so sad to study the history of this tiny land that has suffered at the hands of so many invading armies over thousands of years so many of these people no longer exist, the Assyrains, the Hittites, The Moabites and the orginal inhabitnats the Cannites amongst many others are gone but still the Jewish people fight to keep a homeland. I wish that they could all, every man woman and child take their wonderful medicine their knowledge of reclaiming useless land their songs dances inventions and innoventions and find a way to turn the wastelands of inland Australia into the oasis of milk and honey that they have created on the brutalised strip of land on the Mediterranean that has seen so many lives taken by so many who want that same tiny area. I know this dream of peace for the Jews cannot come true because even they cannot create rain in a dessert but if only that mircale could happen maybe 5767 years of trying to live in peace could finaly happen for a people who have wanted nothing more than to exist with their traditions and beliefs in peace.

the conception of an Arab Palestine is all that has ever existed. The romans did create a territory referred to as Syria Palestine better than 100 years previously Christ. That section became freed by the Hebrews contained in the Hebrew Roman wars. The Jews were referred to as Palestinians by the Romans in the time of that conflict. Even Syria became no longer managed by the Arabs on the time both. Arabs did not triumph over Syria till the seventh century. that's what life became like there 1185 years previously Christ. "The Philistines occupied the 5 cities of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron, and Gath, alongside the coastal strip of southwestern Israel. This sensible association of tribes made ordinary incursions hostile to the Hebrews. there became quite somewhat perpetual conflict between both peoples." The Palestinian favor to bypass to a usa with a destiny. This conflict has been happening for thousands of years purely damaged by the 4 sessions in which both were occupied. they are quite somewhat completely reliable family contributors those who deserve a extra useful life than they are going to ever get in that element of the international. i'd be happy to have them as acquaintances. Even the terrorists between them will be kind electorate were their circumstances distinct. The Philistines by ways have disappeared from the face of the earth. The Arab tribe that were referred to as the Arub decrease back then did not stay contained in the position, and positively had different non Arub international places in between that had to be conquered previously they could bypass there.

The present Arabs has nothing to do with the Jews of history. You can blame to the Romans or even the Babylonians for their misadventure.
The Muslims during their glory days did not hated the Jew lock stock and barrel ; some elected as administrator for the Arab as in Muslim Spain. But it was the Jew who turned against the Arab and fought against them.
Certainly, the dilema of present Arab is caused by the present Jews. And what do we do about it?Do we want to justify the action of Isreal by quoting historical data which is not relevent here to solve the problem?

The clue is in the background to Muslim animosity towards the Jews. Omar, the caliph who succeeded Muhammad, delineated in his Charter of Omar the twelve laws under which a dhimmi, or non-Muslim, was allowed to exist as a "nonbeliever" among "believers." The Charter codified the conditions of life for Jews under Islam -- a life which was forfeited if the dhimmi broke this law. Among the restrictions of the Charter: Jews were forbidden to touch the Koran; forced to wear a distinctive (sometimes dark blue or black) habit with sash; compelled to wear a yellow piece of cloth as a badge (blue for Christians); not allowed to perform their religious practices in public; not allowed to own a horse, because horses were deemed noble; not permitted to drink wine in public; and required to bury their dead without letting their grief be heard by the Muslims.
As a grateful payment for being allowed so to live and be "protected," a dhimmi paid a special head tax and a special property tax, the edict for which came directly from the Koran: "Fight against those [Jews and Christians] who believe not in Allah ... until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low."
In addition, Jews faced the danger of incurring the wrath of a Muslim, in which case the Muslim could charge, however falsely, that the Jew had cursed Islam, an accusation against which the Jew could not defend himself Islamic religious law decreed that, although murder of one Muslim by another Muslim was punishable by death, a Muslim who murdered a non-Muslim was given not the death penalty, but only the obligation to pay "blood money" to the family of the slain infidel. Even this punishment was unlikely, however, because the law held the testimony of a Jew or a Christian invalid against a Muslim, and the penalty could only be exacted under improbable conditions-when two Muslims were willing to testify against a brother Muslim for the sake of an infidel.

I agree. Israel is not perfect, but from what I have seen, they have only ever responded to outside aggression. They don't make a habit of initiating it. Did everyone forget how they gained control over the "occupied" lands? They were attacked. They are surrounded by nations that won't even recognize them as a legitimate state, by nations that want to destroy them. But just remember, He will bless them who blesses Israel and He will curse them who curses Israel. Not a good idea to mess with a nation that has God's protection.

They are angry about Abraham sending his "wild donkey of a son" away, along with his Egyptian concubine mother, into the wilderness of Paran. It was there that his mother Hagar found him an Egyptian wife. Paran is in the northeast part of the Saini Penninsula...far from Mecca.
Genesis 16:12 "He will be like a wild donkey among men. His hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him. He will live opposite all of his brothers."
Mohammad claims relation to Abraham by insisting Ishmael is the father of all Arabs. The problem is that Paran is nowhere near Mecca or Medina
