I have cronic depression and have to use anti-depressants for probably the rest of my life. Coud this prevent me from having kids oneday?

No they won't, they deal mainly with chemical levels in the brain. However, St. Johns Wort have been warned as to cancel out the effects of the contraceptive pill. But its a milder herbal anti-depressant, and may not be as helpful for chronic depression.

No, absolutely not! I wonder if you have heard the term "sexual dysfunction" and misinterpreted it? A common side-effect of anti-depressants is an inability to get aroused physically (despite being aroused mentally) or to climax, but this is only temporary while you are taking the pills.

If your anti-depressants are interfering with your ability to enjoy sex, I'd see your doctor about alternative anti-depressants - it's often a case of trial and error to find one that's right for you. Don't, obviously, stop taking what you're on without your doctor's agreement.
