Getting cramps can mean a multitude of things.
First of all, you should always stretch every day. This should be done even if you are not going to do any type of organized exercise.
Are you dehydrated? Drinking more water can help the cramping in your muscles.
Are you breathing correctly when you are walking? When you breathe in, your stomach should go out so that you fill your diaphram completely.
Making sure that you get enough potassium in your diet can help. Try bananas.
If these things do not work, I recommend consulting your physician.

I actually have that situation each and every from time to time too. each and every from time to time muscle cramps are brought about by dehydration. attempt ingesting a lot extra water in the course of the day (I drink 4 or 5 bottles of water in an afternoon). you could also attempt ingesting a banana each day. Potassium is meant to assist with muscle cramps. attempt taking 2 or 3 shorter walks an afternoon till you get in extra useful structure then change to a protracted walk again and note if it receives extra useful. A novices yoga video will be a reliable workout first of all to boot to strolling because it would want to assist stretch out various of your muscular tissues.

people in decent shape dont get cramps from walking a 'little' while.
cramps are primarily an overdose of the standard reaction muscles have when used beyond their capacity to get oxygen. Acid buildup in the muscles coz of this cause tiredness, and when the buildup gets to a certain level plus the muscle hasn't got a chance to stretch, the muscle kinda notifies ur brain with the simplest signal: pain. this is what ur probably refering to.
Regular exercise improves muscle efficiency as well as the blood flow carrying the oxygen, and as a result dont get cramps as easily, which is what we would call an increase in stamina.
No permanent side effects, u just have to stop to recover like any muscle fatigue, only it takes longer if it gets to cramp level.
hope that helps.

I hear a lot of these problems stem from hydration.
If you aren't hydrated, your body has to over-compensate for the right balance of water in your system....walking is a cardiovascular activity that requires more water in your body and without it could cause cramping.

It's a muscle spasm and people get this because they need to streach their bodies.
