Quite simply....NO. Mayweather cannot be out boxed by anyone who is naturally smaller than him. And whilst Pacquiao can punch I don't think he would get close enough to him to land his big shots. To beat Mayweather you have to have size on your side AND also be very good! I'm no Mayweather fan, but in reality you would have to look at some of the better middleweights before you could find someone with the tools to beat him. As for Pacquiao, currently 8.5/10. Whilst very good against Morales, I truly beleive Morales was there to be taken. I think Manny will probably fight Juan Manuel Marquez again in the near future.......but maybe not next. An easier fight against a lesser ranked fighter will probaly be the order of the day......it's about time he had an easier night. He's earned it!

even IF Floyd was still at the 130lb range, he would easily beat Manny.
The most skilled boxer Manny has fought was JM Marquez.
Except for the first round, JMM had little trouble with Manny.
So think, Floyd at least has the skills of JMM.
he's faster, maybe stronger, better defense.
maybe Floyd does not have the heart of JMM.
Floyd is taller, with more reach than JMM.
Floyd would have no problem with Manny.

What i'd like to see is Manny against Hatton.
they have the same height and reach, Manny is now cut and solid, he could easily carry the weight of 140.
Many more great things from Manny to come, but he could not beat Floyd.
I like Manny, and can't stand Floyd, but it would end in a bad loss for Manny.l

This fight will never happen. To much of a weight disparity. If it did happen Floyd would box circles around Pacquiao. Manny would have a difficult time catching Floyd and I see Manny getting frustrated. Floyd's defensive style of fighting combined with his fast foot work would frustrate Pacquiao. Floyd would win by an easy unanimous decision.

I do believe that Edwin Valero isn't worth to have a adventure hostile to Manny Pacquiao. at the starting up Edwin Valero purely got here up from a win to safeguard his WBC light-weight identify hostile to Antonio DeMarco, this isn't his cost ticket to have adventure with Manny. He has far to run. no longer immediately Edwin Valero. there are a spread of further deserving opponent contained in the Welterweight branch which could adventure a adventure with Manny Like WBC Welterweight Champ Andre Berto, WBA Reg Welterweight Champ Vyacheslav Senchenko, or IBF Welterweight Champ Dejan Zavec. Or by any danger if Shane Mosley will be triumphing hostile to Mayweather this upcoming strive against it will be exciting to visual reveal unit him strive against hostile to MANNY. Many Boxing followers we are disillusioned contained in the adventure of Clottey and Manny via we did not see a lot action.... And we do not pick this to take position again purely because of an opponent lacking the flexibility of showing some action

On Mayweather Jr., if they will be able to have a fight, probably they will meet at lightweight division. On that manner, Floyd have to lose some weight and definitely become weaker in power, on Pac, he has to gain weight but knowing that on Pacman-Morales 3,during the fight he has 144 lbs, meaning he can really can cope up to that weight. In their fight Mayweather will surely use "boxing" skills; stick and run moves, jabs. But Pac has more Speed and Power that he must use. So, they have EQUAL factors to win.

PAcman will fight Edwin Valero next.

Rating of Pac = 9
9?? Because he is on the top of his game now, almost a perfect boxer. I think no one can beat him at his division.

What boxer wants to stand toe to toe and get hit in the head several times, what would it prove? Oh that you can take a punch. Skip that, I agree with Floyd Jr. use your speed to throw your opponent off balance and clock him here and there, box circles around him and hopefully catch him with a good enough shot to hurt him and go to town on him. If that's not possible continue to out-smart, out-class, and score points to keep your title by decision because by all means a win is a win. Floyd is very smart and he will retain his belts until a smarter fighter trips him up and Manny is not that guy! Trust me!

Jayr ~
Manny is the biggest thing to come out of the Philippines since Flash Elrode and Manny and his camp (Freddy Roach) have picked Barrera next because it's a safe bet that he will totally dominate Barrera again with little or no risk at all.

Manny is indeed a exciting fighter to watch, every fight that he fights is nonstop action and he is the best Filipino boxer out there today with Jimrex Jaca a distant second. I can understand why the hopes of a nation rest on his shoulders, he represents the pride and hard work of the Filipino people.

Manny's style of fighting has not changed in the past 6 years, he comes forward and throws punches with everything he has. When he throws his trademark left hand he brings his back foot with him too because he throws all of his weight behind it and compensates for it by throwing a even harder right hand putting him back on balance. He has not added anything to what he has or made any adjustments.

When Manny fought Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny went about business as usual and had Juan Manuel down three times in the very first round, but the younger Marquez made it out of the round went back to his corner made adjustments and came out and outboxed Manny over the next 9 rounds to eran a draw, who many ringside observers called the fight in a young Marquez's favor.

Now you'll have certain people say "Manny and his camp wanted a rematch right of way" and this is somewhat true, Team Pacquiao wanted the rematch but didn't want to give Marquez and Nacho Bernstein, Juans trainer and manager 3 million dollars to his (Manny's) 6 million plus Manny wanted exclusive entitlement to the PPV sales not allowing Juan any of that revenue. So in the long run Juan would have made 3 million dollars and Manny would have been up around 8 million.

Manny is a solid 8 out 10 fighter, he dominates his opponents by forcing his will onto them. His BOXING skills are sloppy and he gets hit alot. Emanuel Steward (HBO Commentator) said it best "Manny is flawed in his boxing ability and his style is wild, if he fights a true boxer again like he fought against Marquez they'll give him problems everytime."

Floyd will never go back down in weight and Manny won't come up in weight so this fight would most liklely never take place but if it did, it might surprise a lot of people that in my opinion, Manny style of fighting, in his mad rushes he catches and hurts Floyd early and possibly stops Floyd in the 5th round with his hard punch output and overwhelming style, but if Manny allows the fight to go any later, Floyd will make the proper adjustments and outbox Manny over the next 7 rounds. This would be strictly Manny's fight to win or lose.

Thanks for the question Jayr.

thats easy. ofcourse pacman can. thats why he has the nickname. he eats his opponents alive. mayweather can't fight people that are always pressuring him, he runs around alot and jsut try to punch you 2 or 3 times unless your hurt. manny is by far a 10 in my opinion. floyd is fast and great too but his fights are so boring because he has a suspect chin. he's afraid to get hit and when he does he can't take it. manny will take it just to land one on anybody so i think manny can take him, hes fast as hell aslo.

pacman wil beat barrera, and Marquez who he already called out but marquez tried to get out by asking for a bigger purse. by doing that he knows manny will deny it just so he won't seem like he doesn't want to fight pacman.
