What Exercises and How Much?
Regular exercise can speed up your metabolism, thus burning more energy - and fat. What is aerobic exercise? For many of us, it conjures up those images of sweaty gyms, wearing a large T-shirt, and watching all those others wearing their tight leotards moving so well to the music.

But it does not have to be this way. Aerobic exercise can be any cardiovascular exercise that is sustained for a long period of time. This could be 25 minutes of walking, running, in-line skating, even time on the rowing machine.

There are many different ideas as to "how long is enough?". Some recommend shorter bursts (20 minutes), while others recommend an hour of cardiovascular activity. The fact is, for many of us - it is very hard to find the time - a lifestyle change is needed.

Start small and work up - aim for some exercise 3 times a week. It doesn't mean you need to sign up with a gym - and if its hard to get outside, you can look at getting some of your own fitness equipment (such as a rowing machine, or exercise bike).

DONT work out EVERYDAY hard...causse you get verryy sore... 3 TIMES aweek workie hardie okie dokie ? lol

*looks at clock* what time !?
When is the best time?
Despite there being a lot of diet plans, supplements, and pills that assist in weight loss (some will work for you and some won't). The healthiest way is to include some kind of exercise program into the mix - the benefits are many.

Most people find that exercise first thing in the morning works best. It leaves you with a feeling of well-being all day - and also kicks your fat-burning metabolism into gear for the WHOLE DAY. If exercise is done at night, you generally go to sleep soon after (where your metabolism goes way down).

Some recommend not eating anything before the morning exercise, while others recommend eating breakfast. Find out what works for you - if you can happily exercise on an empty stomach, then do so. But don't forget to eat breakfast afterwards!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

This happened to me too so I invented my own diet (by researching other diets and seeing what works and what doesnt). This is the diet I tried and I lost 50 ibs in a year:

cardio exercise 3-5 times per week (30min or more each time)
Weight lifting every second day

Put all food on small plates so you eat less calories
No juice, no pop- too much sugar!
No chips, no pizza- too much fat!
Eat from all food groups, but in moderation
6 glasses of water per day
1-3 glasses of 1% milk per day

If you can't beat late night snacking:
Eat popcorn, pretzels, fruits or veggies instead of chips-they are way less fattening.

Execise definitely!
This next bit will sound really stupid, but for me it works. The majority of Americans are overweight because of eating habits.
For example, I LOVE potatos! Potato chips were a big weakness for me, but I since found I could prepare a potato to microwave at work. I also got a dry packet of Green Onion Dip, and mix it with low-fat sour creme. Add a little Parkay, and you'll never go back to chips again.
If I want a sweet, I can have up to two Special K cereal bars each day, sometimes grapes. I also drink lots of diet green tea and freshly brewed tea. For fiber/extra protein: pinto beans, walnuts and brown rice. Most of all, after you find things that work, make a habit of making them convenient. Buy food and prepare it ahead of time.
30 minutes of walking or 4 flights of stairs each day.
Last I eat small portions with small utinsels, and really chew up my food. Since I have some time restrictions, I try to spread my caloric intake over several snacks/meals. I am rarely stuffed or starving.
One great popular book is "You: on a diet". Good luck!

eat healthy, get carbs, fresh fruit and veggies, stay away from fats, get some protien and excersize, dieting will get you absolutely nowhere you need to excersise to burn off the fat that you do have, and more often than not you will not loose a whole lot of weight, what you are aiming for is a reduction in body fat, in women it should be around 20-30% i think, thats army standard at least. look online for BMI charts, its height vs weight, or you can do body fat tests. just stay healthy and excersize and you'll get the body type you are aiming for
