Of course you can't pretend that nothing happened because it did happen. Did you know that my friend Jon Jon was like that before to my best friend Mylene? Jon did the same thing and Mylene felt kinda awkward a little bit towards him. But you know what she did? She said, "Hey! Nothing will change or else you will buy me a Burgersteak in Jollibee!" And then she laughed and so did Jon Jon. It lasted for only minutes and then we are all back to normal. All you have to do is don't change the way you guys were before, just be yourself ok? Relax. Just the way Mylene and Jon Jon handled it. ^__^

Guys are not anything like the complex, confusing, and often frightening female of the species, so keep it simple. Sit the boy down, look him in the eye, and say ...
"Listen. I like you. I don't know how you feel about me, so I want to clear up any confusion before our friendship takes a header. If you think we aren't a good match, or you're just not interested in me 'that way', I understand, that is your right. Personally, I think we could have beautiful children who would grow up to be doctors, world leaders, Amazing Race winners, or really good computer programmers, but I can understand if you need some time to think it over. Just let ME know when YOU know. That way I don't wait around for something that is never going to happen, or on the flip side, we don't waste any time gettin' our groove on."
Let me know how it goes.

Well it all depends on his reaction to what you said. Maybe he was telling people you wouldn't make a good couple, because he was afraid everyone would know he liked you or maybe he was afraid if they knew you would not be his friends.
If he smiled, or you felt like maybe he felt the same, then you should try for him.
Best friends are the best relationships.

I say its better to keep a friend than to have an enemy. He has always looked at u as a friend and maybe he likes it better that way. But test the waters a bit and maybe flirt with him or try to make him jealous by dating someone else. Maybe he is embarassed to express his true feelings to u. And on the other hand maybe he really isnt interested but keep him as ur friend and try to express ur feelings towards someone else.

Yeah just act like nothing was aid and this is why...men hate to be nagged or smothered. And they hate to be in an uncomfortable situation. So if you act like you are cool with him not really digging you and you don't sweat it...then he might start liking you back. Don't chase after him just act like what you said and his reaction does not bother you.

I suppose now that he knows he will change. Everything changes after that. Now you have to wait for him to respond to your thoughts.
