Breakfast + Lunch+ weekend: Brunch.
Brunch usually includes egg omelet dishes with veggies and fruits, toast or croissants, waffles, if you are a vegetarian you may find tofu scramble. There's a great champagne drink called a Mimosa which is champagne and orange juice mixed together. Yum! This is a very popular drink that's served during brunch. Most restaurants usually serve brunch on Sundays.

Brunch is an excellent way to have a good hearty late morning meal, and usually you are so full from this meal, you cannot eat lunch. It can be just a breakfast meal, like steak and eggs, but more traditionally, it used to include breakfast type foods, such as eggs, AND midday type foods, such as finger sandwhiches. Perhaps this is where the concept of the breakfast sandwhich came about? It is more popular on weekends, providing more energy for play, and allowing more time for play. And yes, I usually have a brunch on my days off.

Brunch is a meal you have instead of breakfast or lunch. Its a large buffet serving both breakfast and lunch items as well as a few uniquely brunch items. Generally, most restaurants that serve brunch do so only on Sundays or special holidays. I go to brunches usally during certain holidays.

Breakfast+lunch=brunch.
Usually a brunch is more a social event than anything. Quiches, souffles, and egg-based breakfast dishes feature heavily on brunch menus, as well as different kinds of rolls, croissants, muffins, and quick breads. Eggs benedict, omelettes, and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches are also popular, as well as french toast, pancakes, waffles, or crepes. Meats served in brunches include sausages, bacon, pork chops, smoked salmon, and ham. Orange juice, coffee, tea, and even lemonade or other kinds of sparkling drinks are served, and an especially formal type of brunch is the champagne brunch, which is common on Sunday morning menus at fine restaurants or on holidays such as Mother's Day and Easter. Most full-service hotels have brunch options in the morning. Happy eating!

Something you eat in the middle of breakfast and lunch; mostly for me, to skip breakfast. It can be something as light as a bowl of cereal or fruit, or instant meals ..
