He isn't impotent or gay. He says that he is afraid to have sex and he is 30 years old. He attempted to a few times but he experienced pre-mature ejaculation before inserting his private part into the woman. When I ask him why (as a concerned friend) he never really answers me. I was wondering if he was sexually molested as a child and if the thought of having sex triggers what may have happened to him in the past.

I would say that he has a fear of not pleasing his partner. Or he is embarassed by his pre-mature ejaculation.

As a man with his own issues with sex I can say many of my fears come from growing up being taught about STDs in health class. The risk of broken condoms sets off my anxiety and fear as well even though I know such things are rare. These things cause me to have a serious anxiety attack at the mere thought of having actual sex.

If he had been molested that wouldn't cause premature ejaculation\ if anything possibly inability to maintain an erection. Leave off any foreplay involving touching him. A little experience may resolve this problem.

it could be that he just has a hang up about sex because of a bad experience with a previous girlfriend ,she left him after the first time they had sex (for reasons unrelated to sex)and he has just associated sex with this since doesn't necessarily mean he was molested as a child you shouldnt jump to conclusions(even as a concerned friend) he could be afraid that if he has sex with someone else he will lose them also

maybe his still a virgin!

Ever thought of that!!

Or perhaps there is to much pressure then he experience pre-mature ejaculation. You should'nt really be in his business because guys don't like speaking about these things.

good luck

as men get older that have a harder time staying hard....seriously, each man is different so just be patient with him! It doesn't mean he was sexually abused or anything....but there is a possibility....or it could just be a problem he is embarassed about.

He may be a virgin, first time sex can be painful. Try using a lot of lubricant or a lubricated condom.
