Just bought my first digital camera but the manual doesn't seem to cover how to print pics stored in the camera's memory--not on a SD memory card. Do I take the camera itself to Costco or Walmart and have them download the pics or is there something else to do first?

Do you have an SD card? Because you could actually transfer the pictures from your camera's memory onto the card. It will be somewhere in the menu.
If you don't have an SD card, then I would suggest uploading the pictures onto your computer and then burning them to CD, and taking the CD to get developed.
A final option if you can't or don't want to upload the pics to your computer is taking the camera and cables directly to a photofinishing store. I wouldn't think that places like Costco or Wal-Mart could do it (but you never know), but I think that a proper photo store could upload your pictures from your camera and develop them for you that way.
Hope that helped a little!

There is a function in your camera's Menu to Copy the pics in the internal memory to the SD card. Look in your Owners Manual and find the Copy function.

Then Copy the internal memory pictures to the SD card. Then take to card to a photo lab and get the pics printed!

You can also upload your pics from internal memory to your computer, then write them on CD and take that to the store.

Good Luck

You take the memory card out and take that to WalMart or many other stores. You are stating that its not on a card, so hook your camera up to your PC with the USB cable. Upload the pictures from your camera to your PC. Copy the pictures onto a CD. Take the CD to WalMart, and they can make photos for you.

Walamrt has a machine that all you have to do, is stick your card in it and pick the pics you want to print - and the size you want them to be. Pretty easy stuff.

You can also upload to a picture hosting website and have them print the pictures for you, or, if you have the camera hooked up to a USB cable and have a good printer and editing software at home - you can print them yourself.

If you don't want to take the time to do it yourself at home, many Wal-Marts have instant photo machines where you can plug your USB cable in. If you do this then you can print the pictures you want as well as edit them or add borders and text. They are pretty easy to use and relatively inexpensive...about $0.25 a print. You can also make 5 x 7s and 8 x 10s. I hope this helps!!
