*The most important meal of the day would be breakfast- it gives great physical stamina, makes the metabolism work efficiently and various researches have shown both adults and children concentration at work and school better after a good breakfast. A healthy breakfast is the key to a productive day.

The main meal of the day would vary in different countries- while lunch is considered an important main meal time in some countries - in others it could be the last meal of the day that is the main meal. It depends on how the work day proceeds in a given country.

Breakfast, but let's look at the work: Break and Fast. So this fast breaking meal is any meal after a long interlude without food. During this fast your metabolism slows down. Breaking the fast kicks your body back into higher gear. Now, when you eat again is up to your body type. To keep your metabolism high eating every 3-4 hours but with mini protein/veggie/fruit meals suits some. Others can get by with 6+ hours between eating. Most folks do best with the 3 meals, but if one tends to put on weight easily, the shorter span between meals and much smaller portions at those meals might be better. Going for long periods between meals causes blood sugar levesl to drop....but if this isn't you, then two meals.........a breakfast and then an "early dinner" might be all you need. Eating right before bed isn't a problem when you are young, but as you age, indigestion problems arise.

Breakfast is generally the most important meal of the day. It helps you get energized for the day so you don't feel sluggish by mid morning. But any meal could be important depending on ones schedule.

Breakfast, definatly. If you eat a big breakfast you can go throughout the entire day, stick to things like fruits, juices and jams (it has fructose, a kind of sugar that is healthy for you) and protien that can be found in eggs, milk, and meat. Breads and cereals are also good, as long as they don't have too much table sugar on them (for instance you don't want to eat count chocula or marshmellow blasted fruit loops at the start of a long day). Try to stay away from things that have triptophan in them, or anything else that can trip your seretonin levels (the chemical in your brain that makes you sleepy) like warm milk or turkey.
