yea i think abortion is pretty sick too, and i dont need religion to tell me that either.
its as if they dont feel until they get outside the womb, and suddenly BOOM! now they are fully alive and should be watched over like a hawk
i find it ironic that many (NOT ALL) the people i know also oppose the death penalty because it violates the right to life....please
what about the eight month old baby's rights????
some are born after six months and survive, and im sure others have been born even earlier

Mr. lovejesusangel, assuming that the father is actually willing to take responsibility, he will not be the one carying the child, sacrificing nine months, dealing with labor, not being able to work/go to school, etc..
And face it: a young unmarried man with a child is a sweet and caring father. A young unmarried woman is a whore. That's society's stigma, and as good-intentioned as the father may be, having a right to demand that of the mother is wrong.
Am I a firm believer that it should be the couple's choice and not just the mother's, and to be avoided if possible? But of course! But in reality, it doesn't always work out that way.
Back to the question, where are you going to draw the line, eh? When does a mass of cells become a baby? For all you fans of the slippery slope, what if one day pro-lifers decided that sperm could be baby, and thus it is immoral to waste it. So all sex is wrong then
...But sperm is just cells, you say! Well, so is a month old or two month or even three month old foetus. There has to be a limit of course, but really, the true importance of the arguement of abortion is when to draw the line as to when you can have an abortion, not whether a woman has a right to. Thankfully, we don't have to bear that burden and a ruined life of poverty just because of a mistake.

if the quesiton is do i agree with abortion or don't I
my answer is this- ITS UP TO THE PERSON.
my own reasoning i would do it, cuz first of all i know u can't get an abortion done after 3mnths, and i completely agree with that.
also if i did get one done ever- i would do it during the cell division cycle when its an zygote or in the process of becoming a fetus, it all in ure intrepretation of the situation.
also if i knew what was growing in my womb did not get the attention it needed from me, then i would get it done. when i do have the situation that does arise that i should or should not get it done, it does not mean i am cruel and being a murder if i get an abortion done. i WOULD CRY.
but this is my opinion and people should not inflict their opinions on each other and say one is better than the other- IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE PERSON.
i am also 19- also honestly to never have to go through the debation of abortion PRACTICE SAFE SEX- or be abstinent or use any other contraceptive methods to not get pregnant.
ok i am done now!!!!!!!!
nice vid by the way!!!

I believe in pro-choice.
I do not believe that abortion should be considered a form of birth control. (There should be restrictions on the amount a woman can have, or for what reasons)
What would you say to a woman who is dying of cancer a month or two into a pregnancy? Does she deserve the right to live or has she sacrificed that by becoming pregnant? Or what about the women who would become so desperate that not having that option leads them to much more dangerous means of accomplishing fetal termination? The answer is not as easy as "yes" or "no."
Referring to animal gestation...when those animals begin those developments they are further along in the developmental stages than a human fetus is under three months. I don't think "Varcity Calculus" understands that we aren't talking about babies who are as far along as 6-8 months.
Finally, there IS a difference between "pro-abortion" and "pro-choice" I myself would probably never consider an abortion for my-self. But I believe I deserve the right to have that choice under certain circumstances (as I said above).
To reiterate what others have said:
It depends on the person, the situation, and the age of the fetus.

Nobody is really pro-abortion, it's just an unfortunate situation where an unwanted pregnancy has occurred. Maybe if the Bush administration tried to teach teens about contraceptives and birth control instead of abstinence the abortion rate would subside. Recent studies have shown that the average age teens start having sex has gone down in recent years so abstinence education is obviously not working. STD have also increased since condoms are not used as much.
You can't really stop all abortions anyway, so would you rather them be performed in a doctors office or in somebody's house?

When you say "pro abortionists" someone said that no one is like that. Sorry to correct him, but there are child frees who would go so far as to believe that all children should be aborted. Trust me, I've talked to them *shiver*
I think you meant "prochoice" in which case we're saying that we think the choice is up to the mother. I, as a prochoice person, say its up to the couple and not to law or religion unless the religion is the beliefs of the couple. Everyone should have the choice as to whether or not they bring a child into this world.

Whatever, the fact is still that I am not the one who has to make your decision about your pregnancy. I am not the one facing your life or health problems. If you need an abortion then that should be between you, your doctor and your family. Not Ted Haggard or any other right wing preacher.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a "pro-abortionist", meaning the person would ALWAYS be for the slaughter of children.
Pro-choice is another matter entirely.

I'm pro-abortion, because some people should not be allowed to have kids and there should be a limit.

They are in denial about this living, kicking, thumb sucking human being just as some of them are in denial about the existince of God. And there is scientific proof that an embryo is a living thing!
Pro-life to the the death!
