I work in a school and after feeling fine in the morning, after a short time in my classroom, I start to feel really crappy. I don't know if it's allergies or stress or both. Is there any way to tell before I see my doctor? And can they figure out if I'm allergic to the building without needing to go in there and check?
Thanks! :)

Next time, before u go to work, take an allergie medication (claratin, benadryl, singulair, etc) and see if the symptoms go away or arent as bad. If they are better after u take the medication, its probably allergies. It is hard to see allergens or what is causing your problems because allergens could be ANYTHING.....dust, mold, the floor cleaner/wax they use on the floors, pollen, etc. If you do realize it is allergies, go to your doctor and they can test u for exactly what u are allergic to. They prick your skin with lots of different "allergens" and see what u react to. That way, u may be able to narrow down what exactly is causing your allergies at work.....hope this helps!

All I can suggest is to look around the room- if it's allergies that's bothering you, something in the room is probably triggering it. Look for things that are there on a day-to-day basis, such as: an open window, flowers, etc.
