There is a treatment called microneedling or derma rolling. It's a great alternative for expensive lasers and other cosmetic surgeries. You can have it done at a clinic or have a DIY treatment at home, It can diminish acne scars and help improve many other skin conditions like fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots or hyper- pigmentation, uneven skin tone, large pores, stretch marks, cellulites & even hair loss. The dermaroller creates micro-holes in the outer layer of the skin a.k.a. epidermis. And in order to repair these micro-holes, the skin produces new tissues. Elastin and collagen (the substance that glues skin cells together) production are also stimulated. As time goes by and with more derma rolling, the skin is remodeled, and new skin cells gradually replace the old, blemished & damaged skin cells, leading to supple, firmer and better looking skin. I use Dr Roller along with Levorotatory VC Essence (or Vitamin C Serum). My pitted acne scars have filled out real nice, darker ones have lightened in color and my skin has gotten clearer & smoother.I also use Bergamo Snail Cream, it's an excellent moisturizer and it helps skin rejuvenate. I got all these from an online store. (See Source) By the way, do NOT derma roll if you still have breakouts or active acne. Hope this helps! :) Take Care

When my daughter had to have some minor facial cuts from a dog bite repaired by a plastic surgeon, he recommended having her take 1000mg of Vitamin C daily (dosage specific to her at age 10) to help the scars heal better. He also said to use very mild soap such as Dove to clean the areas...nothing too harsh or abrasive. He also recommended massaging the areas as promoting increased blood flow to the areas will also bring about more white blood cells to those areas which helps the healing process. When you massage the area, use a mild lotion with aloe as it will keep the skin supple enough to form back to its original state. Maybe the same type of treatment will help with you.

Also, have you tried Proactiv? I know it sounds corny but I recently bought it for my daughter and it really does work as well as the commercials say it does....being honest---not a salesperson for Proactiv, just to let ya know.

vitamin E oil, and most important, KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR FACE. That means no rubbing it, picking it, nothing. Get a very gentle clear soap., and stay with that, don't change, it confuses the skin. Good luck.

I know of a product that has really helped me a lot, Arbonne.....they offered it to me as a business to sell it, but selling is just not for me. but I used the product and I just LOVE it. They have a line specifically for acne..................Now that they mention Proactiv, yes you should try it, I haven't but I have a friend who uses it (used to have some acne) and she has beautiful skin.
