Most is buried in landfills. I used to run trucking companies and know of one who hauled bio waste from New Jersey to Arkansas to dispose of it. The money was reportedly very good. I could not adhere to this practice though due to health risks involved.

It should get dumped on the white house in DC. Seriously some ends up in landfills and some in drums gets dumped in our oceans.

It's incinerated - burnt up. That's the only way to stop any other germ contamination. Hospitals all have their own incinerators to burn waste.

Most of them are burnt.
Some of them are dump in landfills.
Some of them are treated (e.g. by autoclave) then managed as normal rubbish.
