If by date, you mean one night event, hmmm....I've always been a sap for sitting under the stars and cuddling...but it would really depend on the relationship between you and her, and the weather. If it makes her uncomfortable to be with you alone in a secluded place (even if she REALLY likes and trusts you,) don't push it. It's hard to answer you question without knowing how close you are or your age. I think it'd be nice to get away from something like going to the movies to something more interactive between the two of you, like bowling, but JUST you two, no other friends, or just going people watching in a busy place, holding hands, sipping on a malt or pop, etc. Something that involves only both of you, but is interactive. Restaurants ARE nice, but very cliche. BUY FLOWERS, or even better, PICK HER FLOWERS. We love that. Even better than jewelry unless all she's looking for is gold and money and people to acknowledge her wealth.

If I was out on a date I would think the most romantic place would be a cozy restaurant where the lights are turned down low..and theres candles on each table...music would be soft (and not overbearing.) For some funny reason I think of Italian restaurants as romantic. Is it the food or the whole idea that Italians are more laid back and romantic? Perhaps theres just such an ambience there , an aura of romance. To me also italian food is not fussy, finicky expensive food but more laid back cuisine. How can there be romance if the man is worrying about the cost ? Myself...if I am concentrating on the romantic side of things..I don't want to be bothered trying something new..would rather go with something I know..

Sneaking into a high rise building to watch the sunset with my date. Maybe having dinner / picnic on the rooftop or camping out and watching the sun set and the stars at night. That is SOOO romantic for me. Or maybe going bungee jumping or sky diving together. Sorry i like exreme stuff

The most romantic place I would want to be is... with you!!! Joking! Actually, I prefer a walk in the park just before sunset on a nice quiet evening talking and getting to know my partner before we go back to his car to do............. some more talking!

Could be on a beach?
Or on the banksof a river. Or on a boat on a lake?
Depends on the weather really. Inside on a rug in front of a fire would be nice too....
