Well, the obvious answer that everyone gave is Los Angeles. But I'm assuming you mean where in Los Angeles...LAX is on the westside of Los Angeles (the 310 area code gives that away)

LAX is Short for Los Angeles Airport. So the air post is in Los Angeles up against the coast.

The airport is on the west (Pacific coast) of L.A. with runways running east and west with westerly approaches over the Pacific Ocean. It is South of Marina Del Ray and West of the 405 interstate. It will most likely be quite a ways from whatever you intend to do in L.A. so rent a car and don't wander into bad neighborhoods...Good Luck hope this helps...
