I did, but it is the culture in which I was placed. God speaks in all languages, to all peoples.
Actually, God reveals to every one of us, in everything we see, say or do. God is revealing to us. It is our responsibility to see.
Namaste.

People generally accept Jesus Christ as their savior a) because God has been revealed to them, in a way that they can comprehend, and b) they feel Jesus has led the way, either by example or personally, to that comprehension.
They may not know for certain, but it's likely they believe, or want to believe enough to trust in a relationship with God through Jesus.

I long ago felt the presence of such love, it could not be compared to anything ever seen before by me, or anyone, or anything. I did not accept and do not accept Jesus as my saviour from anything other than my not-knowing of this perfect love.
Jesus Christ taught that God is all. This means no other, that God is All That Is. This means no matter what teaching or religion we follow, we still "end up" with God...because there is nothing else. It's that simple.

Jesus was the savior of his people, in his time.
because without a prophet you can't know God or what God want from you.
all the prophets are savior of their followers. because they brought the truth to them, then they are surely saved.
Also in the day of judgement, the prophets will interceed for their followers.
because the jews didn't accept Jesus as a prophet and Muhammad also by the christians, they will not have a savior.
so hurry and embrace Islam, for Islam is the truth from God from the begining of time. save yourself.
we believe in God only, the creator of everything, no partners.
God is the only savior, but he will permit to his prophets to interceed for their followers.
to inderstand That Islam is the true religion from God, read this>>>>

No, because we have the bible.
Before Jesus came around, people knew God and He revealed Himself to them. We know this from the Old Testement.
In order for someone to be a Christian, one must accpet Jesus as their savior.
But for anyone to know God and recognize Him when He reveals Himself, you don't have to be anything. Though it does help to be a "reader" in order to read the scriptures.

I feel that any "accepting" we do as a result of God giving us our faith, is rather pointless. If man must accept, then salvation becomes a mere vending-machine transaction, and grace is not necessary. God reveals Himself in His creation and through His Word.
BTW, I did look up the word "accept" in the Bible. Found the word, but never a concept of man needing to authorize God's gift. We just believe.

I think that you can accept the goodness and the love that is around us for God to reveal itself.
It seems like a catch 22 situation, you have to have faith in God in order for God to be revealed......but for me, I feel that if you look around you, open your eyes, and see all of the good thats in the world......don't focus upon the negative, count your blessings and be truly grateful for them, then events will begin to unfold for you.
You can accept this as God, you can accept this as positive attracting positive. Like attracts like.
Either way, this has worked for me, I hope it works for you too!

God loves and lives in us all. Belief in his son as the Messiah, the promised one, is not necessary for you to receive God's love, but Christians believe that Jesus was the son of God. Jewish people believe that he was a great rabbi or teacher, but that the son of God has yet to come to us. Jewish people are loved just as much as Christians people are, so I guess the answer to your question is a simple and respectful, No.

In the Book of Mormon it says this:
Moroni 10: 4
And when ye shall recieve these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, haveing faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
The holy ghost will cause a feeling and a knowlege from god about what is true. Have faith and you will succeed.

God can reveal Himself to anyone He chooses to.
To be a true Christian one must accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. The Bible is our guide book and teaches us all we need to know about God!
