Try WestSoy Organic Soy Milk . . . READ THE LABEL . . . the only ingredient is soy beans! Forget that other crap that claims it's soy milk. It's the worst! Calcium can be found in lots of foods. Check the computer for calcium rich foods. You will be surprised! If the pure organic soy milk just won't work for you, try rice milk. Rice milk isn't nearly as nutritious, but hey, sounds like you are after "taste", right?

Have you tried the new milk specially formulated for lactose intolerance? Tried 1% or skim? If none of these work for you, I suggest a multi-vitamin with calcium. Research other foods that are rich in calcium - you'd be surprised at the calcium benefits in other foods & veggies besides dairy products.

Soy milk is pretty gross (lactose probs and soy allergy). I don't seem to have problems with milk with culture, so yogurt and cheese do not pose a problem for me. If they do for you, try rice milk. Friend's dad used to eat his cornflakes with pineapple juice. I prefer to eat alot of sesame seeds. Halvah is a candy made with sesame, tahini goes in alot of good things, and toasted dry in the bottom of the fry pan makes a great topper to most dishes. Good luck!

My ex-wife was allergic to Cow's milk, so when she was a small child the doctor recommended goat's milk.
For a substitute for milk in cereal, I use diet cola. It works pretty good, (It almost has a snap, crackle, and pop to it.)
If you have a problem with regular milk, you might try powder milk (it has most of the allergy causing lethicin (spelling) removed from it. (Hint, use distilled water, instead of tap water to mix it together.)
Hope I have helped you.
