Take him to the ASPCA. This animal needs to be treated by a physician (vet). I'm sorry you can't afford it, but it's necessary. Skip a couple Christmas presents and take the dog to the vet.

Check with the local vets maybe one will take payments, it needs to be removed.

How do you know it's a tick? Can you see it? Remove it gently with tweezers, then put some antibiotic ointment on the spot.

the vet might be expensive, but if your whole family gets lyme disease it will be WAY more expensive and painful. check out this website, but it might be too deep to do this!
