Somebody once told me that if you're not willing to have sex before marriage you probably shouldn't date young guys (teens and early twenties) because this is the time where they try to "experiment" as much as possible. So basically what she was saying was that I shouldn't be dating unless I was willing to put out? Does this mean I should only date older guys who are looking for a long term relationship? What do you think?

That doesn't make sense at all. With all due respect for this person, that is kinda dumb. You should date who ever you want. How do you expect to meet your husband. I mean seriously I think guys your age or young guys are better cause odds are they are virgins to. Some guys do want their first time to be special. Older guys that are experienced they want that sooner in the relationship. It doesn't matter. If the guy loves you he will wait for you. My best advice is to meet guys and date just let them know up front what you believe in. If they don't like that then you know they won't respect you. And why would you want a guy like that. But you will never know if you don't date.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to save yourself until marriage.

Nope i dont agree... Teens, twenties, thirties, fourties... men are men. I guess if you do believe in sex after marriage, then be frank & straight to the guys you date of what you believe in. But pls, go on a date with a guy whom you think you'll have fun with...

I don't think age has anything to do with a man's appetite for sex. Old want it just as bad as the young. It's not about age, it's about character. If you don't want to put out, then keep looking for a man of character. He might be harder to find, but he will be worth it. Hang in there.

No just straight up tell the guy that you are not willing to put out and if he does not respect that then he does not deserve you.
