My daughter wants something like this for Christmas so she can convert all her video tapes to DVD's but I am so" electronics challenged" I have no idea where to begin.Best Buy or Radio Shack maybe??? How expensive? Or is this even possible? Help!!! Thanks

There are several machines on the market that are combination vcr/dvd players and recorders. Besy buy is a good place to look they ahve several good models as well as some not so good ones...also chekout the consumer guides to get the ratings for thema nd see comparisons of features and quality.
