How old was Mary when she gave birth to Jesus?

I don't think that anyone knows, but she was probably young. I think that the Hebrew word Alma which is used in Isaiah 7:14 means a young woman of mairrageable age. But of course to say that she would be a young woman does not contradict the fact that she was a virgin also. Young women in biblical times were assumed to be virgins because fornicators and adulterers were stoned to death. Mary was both a young woman and a virgin. Also, in Isaiah 7:14 it says that there would be a sign which means that there would be something unique about the Christ's birth(virgin birth). Also, it says that He would be called Immanuel which means "God with us". Jesus is literally God with us. www.equip.org

I think she was around the age of 15. I have even heard some people say she was 12, but I still think 15.
