how old are you? I didn't try it until I was 17, in my brothers house safe, and never again until I was 20-21. I am not too into alcohol. You shouldn't try it if you are under 18..just a suggestion. take care.

How old are you?
I would have a drink, come to think of it I was probably the person offering the drink when I was throwing parties when I was young.
Of course I've been exposed to alcohol since I was 7 days old and had some with dinner almost every night it was really no big deal for me and introducing it to friends was just like offering them a soda.

Just as long as it's a can or bottle I open myself, I'd drink it. I wouldn't trust a drink in a cup at a party, even if my friends were offering it. I wouldn't turn it down because it's alcohol, but because something could have got slipped into the drink.

I don't drink with other people in social situations.
I might have one Bacardi Breezer every three months or so, on a Saturday night, but not to show others that I drink.
Just make up your mind about the whole thing.
And some personal advice - it usually turns out bad when young people are out drinking together.

If you know there's going to be pressure to drink at the party, don't go to the party.
If you were there and you were surprised by the offer, don't take the drink. Then leave the party.

If you truly want to try it, it's up to you. Just take ONE, and one that you have personally opened. Keep it with you the whole time, and just sip and nurse it. You don't have to finish it. And make sure to have a safe way home.
Trust me, you don't want to get stupid drunk. It's just not cool to those who are sober and can see what you're doing.

if you dont think you can handle it or you dont feel comfortabole dont do it. I personally tried it young, it may not have been the best choice but i dont regret it because i think i had to learn from my own mistakes. If i could go back and change my decision i wouldnt.

They are not friends and I would not do it.
True friends never try to encourage you to violate morality, you code of ethics, or the law. That includes doing things that you would not do in front of your parents or any other legal/moral authority that you are subjected to
